At Camp Manitou we offer fully guided whitetail deer hunts. Our hunting grounds are perceived to be only one of a handful of true trophy fair chase whitetail areas left in North America.

Our hunts are all conducted on Crown Land on the southern boundary of the Kenora district, half way between Fort Frances and Dryden Ontario. We hunt a variety of terrain in our vast hunting area - beaver ponds, swampy lowland areas, new growth clear cuts, old growth clear cuts, thick heavily wooded timber, and rocky terrain.

On the evening prior to your hunt, our guides will give you a detailed safety briefing. After the safety briefing, our guides will perform a topographical map reconnaissance of your projected stand areas. We have many stand locations to accommodate the different preferences of our clients. Each hunter will have a minimum of 2 stands to choose from on any given day. This allows us to tactically plan ingress/egress from our stand locations.

We only offer our Hunts from Oct. 23 to Nov. 16. We do this to coincide with pre-rut and rut. This time period offers you the best chance at a true trophy Ontario whitetail! Deer in our area can weigh between 200 and 300+ pounds. Deer score from high 120's to 170's typical. Hunts are offered in 6 night blocks and we only take up to 12 hunters per block.

Whitetail hunting package include: Fully modern accommodations, all meals, towel and maid service daily. Transportation to and from your secluded hunting area and guide for the entire hunt.
